So...

The 4th floor (Hematology/Oncology/Solid Tumor/Bone Marrow Transplant) Units have a support group...and I decided to go today. It was wonderful to talk to the rest of the nurses who get it. The nurses who understand how hard it is to face a child who knows they're dying or a parent who's lost hope. The nurses who get how hard it is to absolutely love a child and then have them pass away. The nurses who, everyday, see just how fragile life is.

It was nice to just sit there, talk, share, and listen.
That's all.

  1. I'm glad you did this. Support groups are an amazing thing that can really help with the stress you see and deal with. I glad it was good for you. You are so wonderful and have so much to share with others that they can learn from. And they can share with you.
